It's no surprise that many New Zealand businesses now look beyond just porfit margins, and are increasingly taking ownership of reducing food waste. We are in discussions with multiple Canterbury businesses, supporting efforts for better access to green technology funding for restaurants. With a view to help one of new Zealands largest industries reduce their emissions, building toward a carbon neutral New Zealand by 2050.

Retirement villages are proving that responsible waste management and environmental consciousness can go hand-in-hand with a vibrant and sustainable community. Transform food scraps into nutrient-rich compost, diverting waste from landfills and reducing harmful methane emissions. This not only benefits the environment, but also creates a valuable resource. The finished compost can be used to nourish on-site gardens, further supporting local gardens and food production. 

We are currently working the Sudima Hotels in Christchurch, with over 75 Tones of emissions being saved  already. With landfills overflowing with food waste, which generates methane, a greenhouse gas with a significant negative impacts on the climate. By composting food scraps, hotels significantly reduce their environmental footprint. The resulting compost can be used to fertilise on-site gardens and landscaping.
